No Criminal-Record Data on File
Newton County Criminal History does not build, maintain, sell, or compile a database of personal criminal records. It identifies routes to records held by the Newton County Sheriff, Arkansas courts, Arkansas State Police, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry. Public access may arise under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-101 et seq., while repository dissemination is governed by Ark. Code Ann. § 12-12-1501 et seq. The website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or another person's record.
